PDO threads are made from Polydioxanone, a biocompatible material that has been used in surgery for many years. The threads are designed to dissolve over time and stimulate the body's natural collagen production process. The threads can be used to target specific areas of the face or body, such as the cheeks, jawline, or neck. We provide you with the following as part of your course Anatomy and physiology of the skin and tissues Infection control Sharps and hazardous waste training First aid and anaphylaxis training Pre-study fat-dissolving theory training Practical training 1 model Clinical set up Professional live demonstrations ENTRY REQUIREMENTS If you do not have the specified medical qualifications then entry to this course is NVQ Level 3 in beauty therapy ( General) Or If you do have other qualifications that are directly related to this area of work, particularly if you work with needles, then please do not hesitate to contact us to find out if you are eligible to attend this course.
